The merchants and vendors in Starfield are incredibly poor, causing frustration for players trying to sell valuable items. It can take up to 48 in-game hours for them to replenish their Credit funds, resulting in several real-world days of waiting to sell inventory. This not only hampers gameplay but also limits precious inventory space.
Bethesda, known for similar issues in Skyrim, may have implemented this to prolong the Starfield experience or add realism. However, it would be beneficial to introduce features like using Skill Points to increase merchant Credit supplies or aligning vendor Credit amounts with player wealth.
Currently, players with numerous items to sell face a long wait before clearing their inventory.
