Modders have answered the prayers of Starfield players by developing a highly sought-after feature: a fully functional outpost space station. This mod allows players to dock their ships, unload and offload cargo, and even teleport from the station to an outpost. While there are a few bugs and improvements to be made, this mod has brought excitement to players who can now experience space station life in Starfield.
Since the game’s launch in September, players have been longing for the ability to create space stations where they can dock their ships and engage in cargo activities. The mod developed by Vex, available on NexusMods, fulfills this desire. However, it currently lacks merchants or trade authorities, so players still need to visit planets for certain transactions.
While incorporating NPCs into the modded stations would make them complete trading hubs and ideal settlements, it may not be possible due to limitations with mods. NPCs are strategically placed in specific areas within the game, and it is unlikely that modders will be able to add them. However, there may be undiscovered files that could allow players to create or hire NPCs such as merchants or traders in the future.
Despite these limitations, the ability to offload cargo, dock ships, and teleport from a Starfield outpost to a modded space station is a significant achievement. Players can now enjoy the convenience and freedom of space station living, never having to touch a planet again.
