Mortal Kombat 1 Halloween Skins Infuriate Players

Derek Morgan

The latest Halloween skins in Mortal Kombat 1 have caused anger among its player base. The new skins, which cost $5 each, have added a simple green color to the default designs, disappointing players who were expecting more exciting and spooky options for the Halloween season.

On October 30, players took to social media to express their frustration, claiming that the color change could have been done in just five minutes. They criticized NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games for what they called “lazy cash grabs” and expressed their disappointment with the $70 price tag already attached to Mortal Kombat 1.

This is not the first time players have voiced their negative opinions about the game’s customization. At the beginning of October, players complained about the lack of customizable content and the numerous bugs and glitches that plagued the game in its first few weeks after release.

Furthermore, players were also disappointed by the absence of cross-play, a feature many had hoped for. However, there is some excitement for the upcoming release of Omni Man, a new addition to the game.

It remains to be seen whether the release of Omni Man in November will be enough to change public opinion of Mortal Kombat 1. Warner Bros. and NetherRealm will need to address the concerns raised by players and deliver a more satisfying gaming experience.

Skin Cost

Horror Bakara $5
