The director of Lies of P, Ji Won Choi, has unveiled images showcasing two exciting new locations for the upcoming DLC. In a video released on November 1st, one of the locations is confirmed to be a water-processing plane or an advanced sewer system. The second image hints at a pirate ship, possibly paying homage to the original story. Could we even get a level inside a whale’s stomach? The possibilities are thrilling.
Director Ji Won Choi didn’t provide further details about the DLC, but he did mention that what we’ve seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg. In the nine-minute video, he expressed gratitude for the positive feedback from players and discussed the upcoming patch. The patch will introduce an improved dodge ability early on to address the game’s initial difficulty. Additionally, players will have new cosmetic options, such as hats and glasses, at no extra cost.
The developer acknowledged the mixed reception to the new weapon system and expressed a desire to further enhance it. As someone who has completed the game multiple times, I agree that the weapon crafting system has great potential but loses its appeal after obtaining the legendary weapons from Alidoro.
Ji Won Choi briefly mentioned the possibility of collaborating with Wo-Long: Fallen Dynasty and releasing a soundtrack featuring over 60 tracks from the main game. These future prospects add to the excitement surrounding the Lies of P DLC and the upcoming patch.
