The screenshots shared by Nintendo show that some graphical compromises had to be made to accommodate the older system, resulting in slightly less defined textures. However, considering the Switch’s handheld capabilities, it’s not surprising that these changes were necessary. Overall, the port doesn’t look too bad, but we’ll have to wait and see how it performs on the console when it releases in November.
The Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy is expected to undergo similar changes to the PS4 and Xbox One releases, which included new loading screens and terrain adjustments to optimize performance.
