The Overwatch 2 community is fed up with constant leavers and Blizzard’s handling of the problem. Currently, if an entire team leaves a Quick Play match, the lobby continues for a short time before ending with no rewards. Players are frustrated with this “ridiculous system” and are demanding compensation for their wasted time. They argue that staying in the server should be rewarded, even if they performed well.
Some players suggest punishing frequent leavers, but others believe bans are too severe. Instead, they propose penalties that encourage players to stick it out and try new heroes. While there is already a penalty system in place for Quick Play quitters, reducing experience gains, players feel it is not enough.
It seems that Blizzard needs to reevaluate the leaving penalty as the Overwatch 2 community is dissatisfied with the current state of Quick Play.
