Today’s patch for Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Zombies brings some significant changes to the game, including fixes for the notorious exfil farming strategy and dupe bugs. These exploits allowed players to easily farm kills and obtain unlimited Juggernauts or Sentry Guns, but they also caused stability issues and crashes.
The exfil farming method, which involved repeatedly calling for the exfil chopper, has been a popular strategy for quickly summoning large numbers of zombies. This allowed players to farm camo objectives, missions, and weapon XP effortlessly. However, the sheer volume of enemies was causing server issues, leading to crashes and instability. As a result, the patch has reduced the number of zombies that spawn at exfil locations to improve stability.
In addition to the exfil farming fix, the patch also addresses the dupe bug that allowed players to duplicate Juggernauts or Sentry Guns. This exploit gave players an unfair advantage by having an infinite supply of these powerful assets. The bug has now been officially squashed, making the game more balanced and fair for all players.
These fixes aim to create a more stable experience in MW3 Zombies, reducing crashes and glitches. While players may be disappointed to see their favorite farming methods go, it ensures a better overall gameplay experience. So, if you were planning on using infinite Juggernauts, you’ll have to reconsider your strategy.
