Just four days after the launch of World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore, one player has already accomplished the ultimate leveling achievement. Vitochie, a Frost Mage from the Defias Pillager guild, reached level 60 after an impressive 69 hours, 53 minutes, and 34 seconds of gameplay.
Vitochie’s journey to level 60 was no easy feat. While most players opted for safer single-target builds, Vitochie fearlessly embraced an Area of Effect (AoE) build, relying heavily on powerful Blizzard spells to clear groups of enemies. This risky strategy paid off, making Vitochie the first player to reach level 60 in the official Blizzard Entertainment version of WoW Classic Hardcore.
The final quest that sealed Vitochie’s achievement was “Order Must Be Restored,” a questline that begins and ends with Highlord Bolvar Fordragon. This quest serves as the culmination of the Nathanos Blightcaller questline, requiring players to venture into Eastern Plaguelands and defeat the Champion of the Banshee Queen.
As of now, Vitochie holds the top spot on the fan-made leaderboard, followed closely by Chubby, another Mage player, at level 57. The race for the third spot is intense, with 14 players vying for the position.
Ordinarily, it takes players around 30 days of playtime to reach level 60. Vitochie’s remarkable achievement in just 70 hours is truly impressive. While some players prefer a slower and safer approach, Vitochie’s dedication and risk-taking have paid off in becoming the first to conquer WoW Classic Hardcore.
