A Pokémon Go player has achieved the difficult task of completing a living dex challenge. This challenge involves collecting male and female specimens of a Vivillion variant from each region. One player, u/RealCasually, showcased their impressive collection on Reddit, featuring Scatterbugs, Spewpas, and Vivillons from all regions.
To complete this challenge, players must receive postcards from different regions enclosed with gifts from friends. This means having friends or fellow Pokémon Go players from various parts of the world is essential.
Vivillons have different patterns depending on their region of origin. Currently, there are 18 patterns available, including Archipelago, Continental, Elegant, Garden, High Plains, Icy Snow, Jungle, Marine, Meadow, Modern, Monsoon, Ocean, Polar, River, Sandstorm, Savanna, Sun, and Tundra. The accomplishment of u/RealCasually, collecting all patterns with both male and female specimens, is truly remarkable.
The Pokémon Go community was amazed by this achievement and congratulated the collector on their feat. Some users admitted they had not been able to collect even one Vivillon. The comments also highlighted the various approaches players take in the game, such as collecting different Pokémon types or focusing on gathering the same Pokémon with different variations and subspecies.
This accomplishment showcases the evolution of Pokémon Go since its release, with the diverse range of playthroughs that the community has created to engage existing players and attract new ones.
