Starfield players are pleading with Bethesda to add a space station or post that they can use as their home base in a future DLC or update. While exploring the vastness of space and searching for resources on countless planets, players long for a place to call home and relax. This is why they are eagerly requesting the addition of a customizable space station in Starfield.
Although there are existing outposts available, they do not truly provide the feeling of a home. Players envision being able to purchase air space from a space real estate agent and construct their own space station according to their preferences. This would allow them to live wherever they desire and fully personalize their living quarters.
Players have also suggested incorporating faction-specific areas, such as shops or pawning stations, based on approval ratings. Additionally, they would like the ability to assign crew members to various tasks, similar to managing resources in Fallout Shelter’s vault. However, this would require the introduction of more crew members and NPCs, which aligns with players’ desire to create their own robot companions like Vasco.
One of the most significant features players hope for is the freedom to customize their space station both inside and out. Currently, customization options for interiors, especially in spaceships, are limited. Therefore, the opportunity to fully personalize their station would greatly enhance the gameplay experience for players.
While an upcoming Starfield DLC called Shattered Space has been announced, little information is available about its content. Some speculate it may introduce mecha vehicles, while others simply hope it will finally grant them the ability to build their dream home in space. Players eagerly await any response from the Starfield developers regarding their requests.
