A large number of players in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team are feeling let down after discovering that the seasonal Rivals Milestone rewards were not worth the effort. The first season recently ended, offering a fresh ladder and a new seasonal pass to grind, along with rewards for reaching specific Milestones. However, players were dismayed to find that the rewards were merely cosmetic and not something they would even bother using.
The Milestones required players to complete 20, 50, and 90 games in Rivals mode, but the reward for achieving these milestones was an untradeable Tifo, which can be used to customize stadiums in Ultimate Team. This cosmetic item holds little value for most players, especially considering the significant time investment required to reach the highest Milestone tier.
Many players took to social media platforms such as Reddit and Twitter to express their confusion and disappointment over the underwhelming rewards. In previous years, Milestone rewards often included packs that provided the opportunity to obtain better players for their teams. The fact that the rewards were consistently shown as Tifos throughout the season led many to believe it was a visual glitch.
Considering the substantial amount of gameplay time required to reach the 90-game Milestone, the reward seems pointless and raises questions as to why the developer did not remove this feature altogether. Players who dedicated time and effort to achieve these Milestones now feel frustrated and regretful.
To add insult to injury, the Milestone rewards for the upcoming season are currently displaying the same underwhelming Tifo reward, causing further confusion and disappointment among players.
The Reddit thread mentioned above reflects the general sentiment of players, with many labeling the rewards as “outrageous,” “a joke,” “nonsense,” and “a waste of time.”
