The majority of Diablo 4 players are struggling to enjoy the game and are seeking new ways to have fun. One popular solution is to create a new character.
On Sept. 26, a Diablo player shared their experience of reigniting their excitement for the game by creating a new character: “I was burnt out on my lvl 72 lightning sorc feeling like I’m getting nowhere. So I made a poison landslide Druid and the game is fun and exciting again.”
Many players agree that playing through levels 0-50 is more enjoyable than 50-100. The early stages of the game provide a decent experience, while the latter half slows down. Progressing through the game, experimenting with different skills and builds, and growing your character feels more satisfying in an action RPG.
However, once players reach level 70+, they often feel lost and believe they have completed the game. There seems to be a lack of meaningful content beyond this point, unless one wants to farm Uber Lilith or engage in PvP.
Some members of the community are becoming frustrated not only with the game itself but also with the constant complaints. A Reddit user suggested, “We need an automoderator to reply to every thread with ‘Yeah, we know,’ and it would be valid 90% of the time.”
Despite the fatigue from complaining, players still want to find enjoyment in Diablo 4, and any insights on how to do so are appreciated. But what else can be done if the state of the game is perceived as bad? One fan expressed their disappointment, saying, “The game is bad because I played for 200 hours and there’s no endgame.”
Season two of Diablo 4, titled Season of the Blood, is set to release on Oct. 17, 2023. With each new season, players will need to create a fresh character to engage in the seasonal content. This can provide a refreshing experience, but ultimately, it will depend on the changes and new content that Blizzard brings to the game.
