The Bravia Core app, previously available on Bravia TVs and certain Sony Xperia devices, has now made its way to PlayStation consoles. This app enables users to purchase or rent movies, specifically those produced by Sony Pictures, such as Spiderman: No Way Home, Uncharted, The Equalizer, and many more. In the coming year, the app will be rebranded as Sony Pictures Core across all devices.
PlayStation owners who download the app can take advantage of several benefits. Firstly, if they purchase the movie Gran Turismo through the app, they will receive free GT7 credit in the highly anticipated game Gran Turismo 7. Additionally, they gain access to a curated catalog of approximately 100 movies, which can be streamed directly through the app via the extensive Sony Pictures library. Please note that an active PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Premium subscription is required for this feature.
The Sony Pictures Core app is now available in 23 markets worldwide and can be easily found in the Media Section of both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 Stores.
