Pokémon Go Fashion Week Returns with Stylish New Looks

Derek Morgan

Pokémon Go is gearing up for the upcoming festive season with a fashionable twist. Fashion Week is making a comeback from November 15th to November 19th, giving players the chance to catch Pokémon sporting trendy outfits. This event will feature both familiar and new clothing options, including exclusive items in the in-game store.

During Fashion Week, players can encounter Pokémon in modern, fancy attire that have appeared in previous iterations of the event. Additionally, some popular Pokémon will be debuting new looks. Dragonite will be seen wearing a bowtie and glasses, while Wooper and Quagsire will sport black beanies. Shiny Gothita, Gothorita, and Gothitelle will also make their first appearance in the game, and players can continue to encounter them in their Shiny form even after the event ends.

The event will bring back fashionable Pokémon from previous Fashion Weeks, with increased spawn rates in the wild, Raids, and Eggs. Players can expect to encounter Diglett, Butterfree, Pichu, Pikachu, Sneasel, Absol, Kirlia, Croagunk, Smoochum, Shinx, and Blitzle. Completing a new collection challenge featuring these costumed Pokémon will reward players with the opportunity to catch the new costumed Dragonite.

As an added bonus, players will receive double Candy for catching any Pokémon during the event. This includes higher encounter rates for Furfrou, Mareanie, and both genders of Frillish in the wild. Players at level 31 or above may also notice an increased frequency of Candy XL, which can be used to power up certain Pokémon beyond their usual CP cap.

Before Fashion Week begins on November 15th, players can also enjoy the ongoing Festival of Lights event, which focuses on Electric and Fire-type Pokémon. This event introduces Tadbulb and Bellibolt to Pokémon Go and will conclude on November 12th.
