Rammus Takes Over the Jungle with the Highest Win Rate in League of Legends
In the latest League of Legends patch, Rammus has emerged as the strongest pick in the jungle. With an impressive win rate of 54 percent among Platinum and higher-ranked players, Rammus is dominating the solo queue. This has prompted Riot Games to implement nerfs for the champion in the upcoming Patch 13.21.
Rammus owes his newfound power to the recent changes made by Riot to jungle pets. The buff to armor scaling on pet damage by 10 percent, along with a larger shield for Mosstomper, has greatly benefited Rammus. Although Mosstomper lost its tenacity and slow resists, Rammus’s mobility and built-in resists compensate for this loss.
With these buffs, Rammus can swiftly traverse the map during the early-to-mid game, securing quick ganks for his team while effortlessly tanking damage from champions and turrets. Once he acquires Thornmail, Rammus becomes an unstoppable force, particularly against compositions with heavy DPS and AD.
However, Rammus enthusiasts should make the most of his current strength as Patch 13.21 will introduce nerfs that significantly reduce his Q damage and W resists. These changes aim to lower his durability and overall effectiveness as an untouchable frontline beast.
Patch 13.21 is set to release on Wednesday, Oct. 25, so players are advised to maximize their Rammus games before the nerfs take effect.
