Resplendent Angel, a three-drop Mono-White angel, was originally printed in Core Set 2019 and has since become a sought-after card. It played a significant role in Mono-White Lifelink Angel builds during its time in Standard, and continues to impact the Pioneer format through various Angel decks. The card’s scarcity has driven its price up to $25 to $30 USD on the secondary market.
The reprint of Resplendent Angel in Lost Caverns of Ixalan will not only make the card more accessible, but also lower its market value. This is great news for players looking to add four copies of the card to their deck without breaking the bank. Despite potential concerns about the card’s fit within the flavor of Lost Caverns of Ixalan, many players are thrilled about this much-needed reprint.
