The upcoming Magic: The Gathering Fallout set will feature serialized Bobbleheads in collector boosters. These Bobbleheads, showcased during a first look of the Commander set, will have a double-rainbow foil treatment that captures the essence of S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
Serialized MTG treatments have become highly sought-after in various sets. The Universes Beyond Fallout Commander set, set to release on March 8, will include seven serialized Bobbleheads from the Fallout franchise. Each Bobblehead will have up to 500 printed copies.
The Bobbleheads in the MTG Fallout Commander set represent the S.P.E.C.I.A.L stat system used in the Fallout franchise. Each letter in S.P.E.C.I.A.L stands for a different stat: Intelligence, Strength, Endurance, Perception, Charisma, Luck, and Agility. While only the Intelligence Bobblehead was revealed during the MTG Fallout spoilers, it is likely that the other six Bobbleheads represent the remaining stats.
All Bobbleheads in the set are Artifacts that function as mana rocks with an additional ability. They have a casting cost of three mana of any color and can tap to add one color of any mana. Additionally, by paying five mana of any color and tapping, players can draw a number of cards equal to the number of Bobbleheads they control.
These Bobbleheads add flavor and functionality to Artifacts-matters decks and will surely be prized by collectors. Players who obtain serialized versions can not only boast about their collector booster pull but also trade them for more MTG Fallout Commander cards when they become available on March 8.
