Blizzard has impressed fans with their recent releases for Overwatch 2, but according to the game’s principal artist, Mike Hardison, there is an upcoming skin for Sombra that will surpass all expectations.
Sombra already boasts a range of captivating aesthetics, including the highly acclaimed Le Sserafim collab skin. Her wardrobe is filled with exceptional cosmetics like the Tulum skin from the Summer Games event and the Demon Hunter skin from BlizzCon 2018.
While Sombra’s Le Sserafim skin is considered one of her best, Hardison hinted at an even better skin in response to a fan’s question on Twitter. He revealed that the future holds an unseen skin that will surpass all others.
Hardison expressed his excitement to see the fan art that will be created once Blizzard releases this mysterious skin. Although the rarity and release date are unknown, speculation suggests it could be the season eight Mythic skin, as a new season is approaching.
So far, Sombra has received the Folklórica skin through the battle pass in Overwatch 2. She also has several Legendary shop skins, including Gilded Hunter, Antifragile Slay Star, Marioneta, and Aztec. Additionally, she has two Epic shop skins, Jester and Quicksilver. Considering the limited number of battle pass skins for Sombra, it would be fitting for her to receive another one.
