Despite being in early access, Lethal Company has gained immense popularity since its recent launch. It’s no surprise that players are now attempting to complete the game at lightning speed, but they have also created a more specific challenge within the game.
This unique challenge, known as the Bees or Beehives run, requires players to fulfill one of Lethal Company’s quotas by solely collecting Beehives. The reason behind this choice is not entirely clear, but it likely stems from the high risk and reward associated with obtaining Beehives. These valuable items can be found near the player’s ship, making them perfect for quick runs.
Anyone familiar with the game knows how difficult it is to acquire a Beehive. Approaching one attracts a swarm of bees that can swiftly eliminate players if they linger for too long. However, the allure of their high credit value makes Beehives an ideal choice for meeting quotas.
Although we provide a guide on the safest methods to collect Beehives, speedrunners seem to be disregarding caution in their pursuit of completing this self-imposed challenge as quickly as possible. The current world record holder, admiroo from Sweden, managed to accomplish this feat solo in an astonishing two minutes and 51 seconds. Their strategy simply involved grabbing the Beehives and swiftly escaping before the bees could harm them.
While there are subcategories for attempting this challenge with multiple quotas or players, a majority of participants prefer to tackle a single quota individually. This approach eliminates the need to rely on others, and in case of failure, restarting takes less time compared to attempting three or six quotas simultaneously.
