The latest developer update for Spider-Man 2, released on Nov. 1, has addressed various bugs and gameplay problems that were affecting the newly released sequel by Insomniac.
One of the major issues that has been resolved is the bugged final section of the Marko’s Memory storyline. Previously, players would encounter glitches that prevented them from completing the side-mission, leaving the storyline unfinished despite their efforts.
The Version 1.001.004 patch, the third update since the game’s release, has also fixed multiple player model bugs that caused loading issues after long gaming sessions. This means that the strange occurrence of the Spider-Cube, where Miles Morales or Peter Parker would turn into a tiny white box, should no longer happen.
The update has also addressed puzzles in the New Threads missions and glitches in the Galvanize tutorial. Additionally, developers have ensured that bosses will no longer get stuck in map elements during battles.
While Spider-Man 2 has generally been a smooth experience, there have been some hiccups, particularly in the early days after its release. One notable bug was the Coney Island bug, where Parker would get stuck on a bench during the Second Chance Main Story mission. Although it is unclear if this specific issue has been resolved with the latest update.
Dot Esports has reached out to Insomniac for further clarification on this matter.
