A Starfield player has made a bold and somewhat delusional claim, asserting that they are the sole owner of the New Atlantis public railway system. This player believes that the entire train network is exclusively theirs.
In a Reddit thread on October 26, the player confidently stated, “I own the New Atlantis train, and I can prove it.” They went on to explain their reasoning, claiming that the New Atlantis Transit system, also known as NAT, only operates for their personal use.
The player argued that despite other people being present around the train, they are merely pretending to ride it. According to their belief, the train does not move unless they are on it. They even claimed that during catastrophic events in the city, no one else is allowed to ride the train, and citizens can only watch them as they ride it.
While these claims may seem outrageous, some players responded with their own delusions. One player countered, “You’re incorrect, it’s mine. I’ve never even seen you on my train, so you only travel on it in your dreams.” Another player chimed in, “That’s weird because I’ve never seen you on MY train either.”
Another player pointed out the rapid rise to notoriety experienced by the main character in Starfield, suggesting that owning the NAT might be within the realm of possibility. They mentioned how the character goes from being a stranger to owning a room, guns, gear, and the key to all the goodies in Constellation.
Some players took a different approach and humorously blamed the supposed owner for the poor engineering of the track system. They joked about the train always running late, regardless of how well they time their trips.
In the end, it’s all just playful banter, as the true ownership of the NAT remains unknown. Perhaps we are all just spectators, watching someone else take the train every day.
