The 2023 League of Legends World Championship has come to an end, and T1, the champions, have chosen the champions they want for their skins. After a dominant 3-0 victory over Weibo in the finals, T1 will receive a set of champions to commemorate their legacy. Faker, T1’s mid laner, will have his fourth champion skin, following Zed, Ryze, and Syndra from his previous world championship wins.
During the Worlds Finals media day, T1’s roster shared their preferences for the skins they would like to receive next year. These choices are not final, as Riot has the ultimate decision. Here are T1’s early nominees:
Player | Champion Choices |
---|---|
Zeus | Jayce or Yone |
Oner | Lee Sin |
Faker | Undecided, but wants a skin that fans will enjoy |
Gumaysi | Jinx |
Keria | Bard or Renata |
Faker’s choice is particularly interesting as it follows the trend set by DoibB in 2019, when he involved his community in selecting his champion skin and ultimately chose Malphite. If fans have a say in Faker’s choice, Ahri seems to be the popular pick. Faker even played Ahri in the first match of the series, so hopefully, we will see it become a reality. It has been highly anticipated by fans for a long time.
