Tanks in Overwatch 2: Not Fun Anymore

In the previous version, tanks had the support of another tank, making it easier to handle the chaotic abilities thrown at them. But now, with only one tank per team, the burden becomes overwhelming.
In Overwatch 2, tanks are left alone as the sole big, slow target, with everyone focusing on them using unfun abilities. There is no other large hitbox to help mitigate the damage and provide a moment of respite. It’s an incredibly stressful situation for tank players.
The community agrees with this sentiment, with one player named Steggoman stating that if Blizzard wants to make the five-versus-five format work, they need to fully develop and enhance the utility of all tanks. They point out that Ramattra, compared to other tanks, is an all-rounder with a bit of everything, making him consistently strong without a true hard counter. Steggoman suggests that instead of simply making tanks stronger versions of their Overwatch 1 selves, Blizzard should rework the tank role by giving them utility that fills the gaps in their characters. This approach would address the issues with the current tank meta and make the five-versus-five format more balanced and enjoyable.
