Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to expand its already extensive arsenal with the addition of new guns. Leaks suggest that the first content season, starting in December, will introduce five new weapons to the game.
According to reliable leaker @el_bobberto, the upcoming season will feature two assault rifles, one SMG, one sniper rifle, and one LMG. Among these, fans are particularly excited about the return of the RAM-7, a popular weapon from previous Call of Duty titles. In Modern Warfare 3, it will be known as the IWI Tavor X95.
The launch of season one will see the introduction of three guns: the IWI Tavor X95, FN Evolys LMG, and Cadex CX-50 Tremor sniper rifle. In January’s Season One Reloaded update, players can expect the addition of the Beretta PMX SMG, and potentially the ARX160 assault rifle.
With the inclusion of all the guns from 2022’s Modern Warfare 2, as well as those from Warzone, Modern Warfare 3 is shaping up to have an impressive array of weaponry. Currently boasting over 100 guns, and with the potential for three to five new additions each season, the total number of weapons could reach close to 200 by the time the next Call of Duty installment arrives in 2024.
The multiplayer and Zombies modes of Modern Warfare 3 will be fully available on November 10th. Season one is expected to commence in early December, either on December 6th or 13th.
