Metaphor explains that the M4’s buff comes at a time when other assault rifles have been nerfed, giving it a significant advantage. He highlights the M4’s unique feature of having the same damage to limbs as it does to other body parts, making it a versatile and effective weapon.
Metaphor’s preferred loadout for the M4 includes a Hightower 20″ barrel, Cronen OP44 muzzle, FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel grip, and a 45-round magazine. He emphasizes the importance of tuning these attachments to maximize their effectiveness.
During gameplay, Metaphor pairs the M4 with a Lachmann Shroud submachine gun, using the M4 primarily for mid-range fights. However, he notes that players can choose to pair it with a sniper rifle for long-range engagements, depending on their playstyle.
While the M4 is now considered one of the best assault rifles in the game, it is not the only viable option. Other weapons, such as the TR-76 Geist, can still be strong choices in Warzone. The recent patch aims to balance the assault rifle meta and provide more variety in weapon choices.
