Top 5 Guns to Use in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Beta

Derek Morgan

With the beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in full swing, players are getting a taste of the weapons and attachments available. WhosImmortal, a popular creator, has shared his top five favorite guns to use during the beta.

According to WhosImmortal, the best weapons to use in the beta are the MTZ-556, MCW, Striker, SVA-545, and Rival-9. He also provides insights into his class setup, including equipment, perks, and recommended attachments for these weapons.

Replicating these loadouts should be straightforward as long as you level up the weapons, as there are no tuning or aftermarket parts available in the beta.

The MTZ-556 boasts the highest fire rate in MW3, and with the right attachments, it can be extremely effective. The MCW is considered one of the best guns in the beta due to its low recoil and high damage. Its predecessor, the ACR, was highly regarded, and the new version seems to be following in its footsteps.

WhosImmortal believes that the Striker and Rival-9 are the best submachine guns in the beta, and it’s hard to argue with that. Both guns have made it onto our list of the best MW3 beta guns, and it’s great to see the Striker back in action.

A unique addition to the list is the SVA-545, which features a hyper burst mode. WhosImmortal suggests experimenting with tap-firing to take advantage of this feature, although it may not be everyone’s preferred playstyle. Personally, I would stick to full-auto or opt for a gun like the MCW, as burst fire isn’t my cup of tea.

An honorable mention goes to a new lethal in the game – the Breacher Drone. Players have found various ways to use it, from sending it into buildings to launching it directly at enemies’ faces. Most importantly, it is highly effective and more reliable than blindly throwing Semtex grenades.

It’s important to note that all of this information is based on the beta version, and things may change when the game officially releases on November 8th. Battle Rage has already received a significant nerf, so the final meta is still uncertain.
