Track Ammo Easily with This Ingenious Apex Legends Method

superadmin

An Apex Legends player has come up with a clever way to track ammo while on the move, making it simple to prioritize loot and potentially save your life in the next battle royale match. By using weapon skins with colors that match their respective ammo types, players can easily identify which ammo box to pick up based on the color of their gun. This method is especially helpful for new players who are still getting used to the game’s wide range of weapons.

In a screenshot shared on Reddit, Apex player Bellhazer showcased their weapons with recolored skins that corresponded to the ammo type. Shotguns were colored cardinal red, while guns that used light rounds were colored Bengal yellow. The best part is that these skin recolors are of Common rarity, meaning they are inexpensive to obtain. With just 30 crafting materials each, players can quickly outfit their favorite weapons using Apex Packs earned through leveling up their account.

However, there are some downsides to this method. One user mentioned that they stopped using it after collecting various Legendary skins, which they found too cool not to use. Another user asked about unique weapons like the C.A.R. SMG, which uses both heavy and light ammo. Bellhazer suggested using a skin with a mix of different colors, but finding a skin that matches both ammo types can be challenging.

For players who prefer a sleek and stealthy look, the Midnight skin was suggested. Although an all-black skin would defeat the purpose of the color-coded ammo tracking, it would still make the player look cool. Ultimately, this method is ideal for those who struggle to remember which ammo their weapon uses and want to avoid picking up unnecessary ammo types.

Give this method a try the next time you play Apex Legends and keep your backpack free from cluttered ammo types. It’s a simple yet effective way to stay organized and focused during intense battles.
