Nikolarn, a popular Twitch streamer known for his Counter-Strike content, has come under fire from members of the CS community who claim he has been using bots to inflate his viewership numbers. The allegations were brought to light by Dima Wallhacks, another CS content creator, who released a video on Twitter showcasing evidence of Nikolarn’s suspicious viewer count.
According to SullyGnome’s data, Nikolarn has consistently averaged around 10,000 viewers per CS stream over the past year. However, Dima Wallhacks discovered that Nikolarn’s follower count does not reflect this level of viewership. Despite an active chat, there are relatively few subscribers engaging with the content. Dima Wallhacks concluded that Nikolarn is using bots to artificially boost his numbers and profit from sponsorships.
It is worth noting that Nikolarn’s Twitch bio reveals sponsorship deals with two CS gambling websites and G2A, a prominent digital game retailer that has supported various CS:GO teams. This further raises suspicions about the authenticity of Nikolarn’s viewership.
Prominent members of the CS community have voiced their concerns, with some claiming that Nikolarn has been view botting for years. Mrtweeday, a fellow CS streamer, stated that this behavior has been going on for a long time and has largely been ignored by others in the community.
Analyzing Nikolarn’s streaming statistics on SullyGnome, it is evident that he has streamed 745 hours of CS:GO in the past year, with an average viewership of 10,579 people. These numbers surpass those of renowned professional players like m0NESY and FalleN, despite Nikolarn streaming significantly more hours.
FalleN and m0NESY, however, consistently gain thousands of followers during their Twitch streams, as reported by SullyGnome.
At the time of publication, neither Nikolarn nor Twitch have responded to these allegations.
