Unleash the Power of Hisuian Typhlosion in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Xavier Ward

The highly anticipated Tera Raid event featuring the Fire Starter Pokémon, Hisuian Typhlosion, has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Get ready to face this formidable Fire/Ghost type from November 3rd to 5th, and again from November 10th to 12th. With its rare Mightiest Mark, defeating Hisuian Typhlosion will be a challenge you won’t want to miss.

Just like the previous Tera Raid event with Hisuian Decidueye, Hisuian Typhlosion will have the Tera Type that matches its primary typing—Fire. This means you’ll need to come prepared with Pokémon that can resist or even be immune to Fire-type moves. Pokémon with Abilities like Flash Fire or Well-Baked Body will be invaluable in this battle. For example, Hisuian Arcanine with Flash Fire will be immune to Typhlosion’s Fire attacks and can deal super-effective damage with its strong Rock-type moves.

Alternatively, you can take advantage of the rain and bring a Water-type counter. This could be the perfect opportunity to unleash the power of Belly Drum Azumarill or the Water/Dragon type Walking Wake, which will quad-resist Hisuian Typhlosion’s Fire attacks.

Looking ahead, it’s likely that Hisuian Samurott will be featured in the next Tera Raid event after Typhlosion. As the last Starter Pokémon from Legends: Arceus, it makes sense for Samurott to take the spotlight in these Unrivaled Tera Raids.

After that, the direction of the Tera Raids is uncertain. We may see more Starters that haven’t been featured yet, such as Venusaur and Blastoise from Gen I. Alternatively, we might face intense Legendary raids like the challenging Mewtwo Tera Raid event we experienced in September.

Get ready to test your skills and catch the powerful Hisuian Typhlosion in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Don’t miss out on this thrilling Tera Raid event!
