Statistics can provide valuable insights into the world of gaming, helping us better understand what happens on our screens. Riot Games has shared some intriguing stats from their Insights team, shedding light on the best teams and players in various aspects of VALORANT. From pistol round prowess to ultimate ability usage, let’s dive into the numbers.
Stellar Performances on Pistol Rounds
When it comes to pistol rounds, the cream of the crop rises to the top. Three out of the top five teams on pistol rounds made it to the VALORANT Champions tournament, with Evil Geniuses emerging as the champions. LOUD and Fnatic also showcased their skills, securing third and fourth place at the championship. Surprisingly, Global Esports, the number one pistol round team, did not qualify for the world championship, nor did FURIA, another top pistol team. Interestingly, only one player from the top five pistol round performers belonged to one of the top five pistol teams: Ayrin.
Dominating Rifle Rounds and Force Buys
Rifle rounds and force buys are crucial in VALORANT, and the stats reveal some standout players. According to the Insight team’s data, Evil Geniuses’ Ethan boasted the best K/D ratio with the Ares, one of the game’s most popular LMGs. NRG’s s0m displayed exceptional skills with the Operator, achieving a remarkable 4.67 K/D ratio. DRX’s MaKo excelled with the Judge, recording an impressive 6.0 K/D ratio. FURIA’s dgzi showcased mastery with the challenging Marshall, achieving a 5.0 K/D ratio.
Impactful Ultimate Ability Usage
Ultimate abilities play a crucial role in VALORANT, often determining the outcome of rounds. Cloud9’s Leaf proved to be the most impactful player with Jett’s ultimate ability, while LOUD’s Saadhak excelled with Killjoy’s Lockdown, both of which can heavily influence the game. It comes as no surprise that DRX’s Foxy9 dealt the most damage per use with Raze’s ult, and Sentinels’ Marved achieved the same feat with Brimstone’s ult.
