Valve has addressed a bug in the latest Counter-Strike 2 update that prevented players from selling back the PP-Bizon using the game’s refund system. This bug fix comes as a relief to the few players who accidentally purchased the SMG and were unable to get rid of it.
The weapon refund system in CS2 has been a popular feature since its introduction in September, allowing players to easily sell back unwanted weapons. However, it was discovered that the PP-Bizon was an exception to this rule, leaving players stuck with a weapon they didn’t intend to buy.
It’s surprising that this bug was even discovered, considering the PP-Bizon’s reputation as one of the worst weapons in Counter-Strike history. The weapon is rarely chosen by players due to its ineffectiveness, and it often gets overlooked in favor of more powerful options.
Valve has now fixed the bug, much to the relief of players who accidentally purchased the PP-Bizon. This update also addresses a long-standing glitch with weapon silencers, where the visual animation would not match the actual functionality of the weapon.
In addition to these fixes, the November 20 patch for CS2 also includes adjustments to fall damage, improvements to the commonly-used host-timescale command, and fixes for the map Ancient. With this being the eighth official patch in November alone, it’s clear that Valve is dedicated to resolving any issues and ensuring that CS2 is in top shape for the upcoming holiday season and the eventual competitive launch next year.
