The developer behind the highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 remake, Bloober Team, has addressed concerns about the lack of updates on the project. Despite the absence of meaningful updates for over a year, the team assures fans that the production is progressing smoothly and according to schedule.
While fans eagerly await news about the game, Bloober Team asks for a bit more patience and suggests that any future updates will come from publisher Konami. The long-awaited remake of Silent Hill 2, one of the most revered horror games of all time, has left fans anxious for new content.
With the series on a long hiatus and no proper new entry since 2012, fans are hungry for more Silent Hill experiences. Although Silent Hill Ascension was recently released, it received mostly negative reviews and is not considered a traditional video game.
In addition to the Silent Hill 2 remake, there are other Silent Hill projects in the works. British developer No Code is working on Silent Hill: Townfall, published by Annapurna Interactive, while Ryukishi07, creator of the When They Cry visual novels, is writing for Silent Hill f. However, little information is available about these projects.
