Cloud9 Bolsters Roster with Veteran Support Vulcan
Cloud9 is determined to build a championship-winning team for the 2024 LCS season, and they have just announced the signing of veteran support Vulcan to their impressive League of Legends roster.
Vulcan Reunites with Former Teammates Fudge and Blaber
Vulcan is already familiar with Fudge and Blaber, as they played together in 2021. However, this will be his first time playing with the team’s AD carry star Berserker. Berserker is considered one of the best players in his role and a top-three player in the LCS.
Vulcan Returns to Cloud9 After Two Years with Other Teams
After spending two years with Evil Geniuses and FlyQuest, Vulcan is rejoining Cloud9. During his time away, he only won a single LCS championship and reached the top four at the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational with EG.
FlyQuest’s Disappointing Performance in 2023
FlyQuest had high expectations in 2023 with a strong roster, but they failed to meet them. Despite starting the Spring Split with a seven-game win streak, they quickly spiraled into mediocrity and suffered an early playoff exit. In the summer, they didn’t even make the playoffs with a 6-12 record.
A Fresh Start for Vulcan with Cloud9
With Vulcan returning to Cloud9, he gets a fresh start with a familiar home. The team’s fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the starting mid laner, rumored to be former Evil Geniuses mid lane prodigy Jojopyun. If Jojopyun joins, Cloud9 could become future LCS champions.
