Counter-Strike 2, although still in beta, is not without its flaws. One major issue that players have been facing is the ragdoll problem, which severely impacts framerates. A recent Reddit post showcased how an enemy’s ragdoll caused everyone’s FPS to drop to 25 for the entire round. While this may seem like a minor inconvenience for one round, it becomes incredibly frustrating if it persists throughout the game.
These framerate issues are not unexpected, considering the recent influx of new players invited to the closed beta. Valve invited thousands of players, including those with Prime status and an active skill group in CS:GO. With more players participating in the limited test, it’s only natural that bugs and glitches would arise. However, this could be seen as a positive development for impatient players, as the increased number of bug reports should prompt the developers to address these issues promptly.
Since the latest wave of invites, anticipation for CS2 has reached new heights. The only concern is whether Valve has the capacity to handle all the tasks at hand. Regardless, we remain hopeful that the developers will meet the deadline and deliver a polished game.
