An exclusive music video for the upcoming game, Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story, has been unveiled ahead of its release on Nov. 1. The video showcases the journey of Nunu and Willump, highlighting their friendship and the obstacles they face together. With stunning visuals, the video also provides hints about potential gameplay elements that players may encounter in the game.
The video features Nunu playing a musical instrument, which may allow him to interact with runes for puzzles, as previously teased by the developer. Additionally, it shows Willump throwing Nunu onto platforms, suggesting that players may control Nunu alone on small surfaces. The appearance of Lissandra as a villain is not surprising, as she has been confirmed as such in Riot Forge’s game. Other characters like Braum, Volibear, and Ornn will also be included.
While the video showcases Nunu battling enemies, it remains unclear how combat will be handled in the game. It’s important to note that the video does not necessarily depict the actual gameplay, but rather provides hints about potential elements.
The music video, titled “You and Me Makes Us,” was created in collaboration with songwriter and producer Deegan Reeves, known as DEEGAN. Directed by Jan Xavier from The Hit House, the video captures the heartwarming friendship between Nunu and Willump, embodying the true spirit of the Holiday season.
Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story is set to release on Nov. 1 and will be available on PC (via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG) and Nintendo Switch. The developer has also announced plans to introduce the game to more platforms in the future. Fans can already pre-purchase the game for $29.99.
