Faker, the undisputed greatest player in League of Legends esports, has achieved numerous accolades throughout his 11-year career. However, there is one milestone where he falls behind significantly – pentakills.
Despite his four World Championships and legendary status, Faker has only secured a single pentakill. This impressive feat occurred during the SBENU Champions Spring 2015 tournament, where he played as LeBlanc against NaJin e-mFire. In that game, Faker finished with a score of 10/2/6.
Comparatively, other players have achieved far more pentakills in competitive League. Players like Doublelift and Rekkles have 10 each, while Ruler has nine. GALA and Uzi sit at seven, and a player named Celebrity from the Vietnamese and South-Asian region tops the scoreboard with 11 pentakills.
Although Faker’s lack of pentakills may seem surprising, it is overshadowed by his incredible contributions to T1 and his unmatched success in winning four Summoner’s Cups. While pentakills are an impressive individual achievement, Faker’s impact on the game and his team’s victories cannot be overlooked.
