Egor “flamie” Vasilyev, a highly successful CS:GO player, is determined to return to the top tier of competition in the upcoming CS2 competitive cycle. Despite currently playing in tier-three tournaments, flamie believes his experience and the changes in CS2, including a different hitbox, will work in his favor.
Since leaving NAVI in 2021, flamie has been playing for a new team called CYBERSHOKE, where he takes on supportive roles and mentors younger players. He plans to continue playing with them in CS2 unless an exceptional opportunity arises.
Flamie’s career highlights include winning prestigious trophies with NAVI, such as ESL One Cologne in 2018, IEM Katowice in 2020, BLAST Premier Global Final in 2021, and ESL One New York in 2016. He has also reached the finals of three CS:GO Majors.
Flamie is not alone in his aspirations for a comeback in CS2. F0rest, another legendary CS:GO player, is also searching for a team to compete in the new game.
