A Reddit user named SimplyGooses recently shared a video showcasing the vanilla RGX Pro 11z Blade on Sept. 4, revealing its glossy and glowing appearance. The RGB bulbs inside the blade emit a vibrant glow when drawn or inspected, with the colors cycling during each inspection. Compared to the base knife, the RGX Blade has a sharper tone and a glowing light belt, even without any upgrades.
Despite its stunning design, the community hasn’t given much attention to this clean VALORANT knife skin. Some players have reported being laughed at by their teammates when equipping a nonupgraded skin in VALORANT. This sentiment is not unique to the RGX Pro 11z Katana; players often face criticism for using nonupgraded skins, especially for high-end collections like the Elderflame Vandal.
However, there are players who appreciate the functionality of the nonupgraded skin. As one player mentioned, “It still does the job,” emphasizing that size doesn’t matter. The vanilla RGX Katana may not be as long or sharp as the upgraded version, but it still holds its own.
Compared to other knife skins in their original form, the RGX 11z Pro Blade stands out as a well-designed option. Riot Games did an excellent job with this skin, and many players wouldn’t mind using a vanilla knife skin of this quality in VALORANT, even if it means enduring some teasing from teammates.
