The highly anticipated arrival of more Pokémon Legends: Arceus content in Scarlet and Violet is finally here, as Hisuian Decidueye is set to make its debut in an upcoming seven-star Tera Raid event. This exciting event, which was announced today, will take place from October 6th to 8th, with a second showing from October 13th to 15th. Don’t miss out on the chance to battle this powerful Grass Tera Type Pokémon before it disappears!
Unlike its Kalosian counterpart, Hisuian Decidueye boasts a unique Grass/Fighting typing. However, both versions of Decidueye share similar stats and move pools. This Tera Raid event will showcase Hisuian Decidueye’s impressive moveset, including Triple Arrows, Leaf Blade, Brave Bird, and other new additions available in Scarlet and Violet.
This marks the first appearance of a Hisuian Pokémon in a Tera Raid event, hinting at the possibility of future events featuring Hisuian Typhlosion and Hisuian Samurott. The release of The Teal Mask expansion on September 13th also introduced several Pokémon from the distant past, along with a new form of Ursaluna to discover.
Prior to this raid event, the only way to obtain a Hisuian Decidueye was by playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus or trading with other players. While it was already transferable via Pokémon HOME, evolving a Dartrix into Hisuian Decidueye in Paldea was not possible.
In addition to the Tera Raid event, The Teal Mask expansion also allows players to obtain Eggs for the Sinnoh starters Turtwig, Piplup, and Chimchar. This opens up the possibility of future Tera Raid events featuring these iconic Pokémon, although it is less likely since they are already obtainable.
Excitingly, it seems that Hisuian Decidueye will also be making its way to Pokémon Masters EX in the near future.
