The highly anticipated Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.4 update, titled “Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream,” is set to release on Oct. 11, 2023. This update brings a host of exciting new features, including three recruitable characters, a Pokémon-inspired event, and thrilling adventures to explore.
New Characters
Version 1.4 introduces three new recruitable characters, with two exclusive five-star forces leading the pack. Topaz & Numby, a Fire character duo, take the spotlight. While Topaz is the main playable unit, her Warp Trotter companion, Numby, plays a crucial role in her skillset. Additionally, Jingliu, a Destruction Ice unit and former mentor of Jing Yuan, will join the roster. Lastly, the Fire Nihility character Guinaifen will be available as a four-star recruit.
Aetherium Wars Event
One of the major highlights of Version 1.4 is the Aetherium Wars event. In this grand tournament, players must convert enemies into allies to compete for the championship. Instead of battling against foes, you’ll need to enlist the help of enemies such as Warp Trotters, Searing Prowlers, and Silvermane Cannoneers. However, collecting these allies won’t be an easy task, making the championship a challenging endeavor.
Unrest in Belobog
The city of Belobog is plagued by unrest in Version 1.4. The trailer showcases distressed appearances of Bronya and Gepard, with the Trailblazer and March 7th rushing to their aid. While the previous storyline focused on The Xianzhou Luofu, it seems that Version 1.4 will bring a return to Jarilo-VI to address the chaos stirring in Belobog. Expect to visit both Jarilo-VI and The Xianzhou Luofu to fully experience all the new content.
Diverse Character Lineup
Version 1.4 will feature characters from various locations, reflecting the extensive traveling within the game. The trailer showcases familiar faces such as Blade, Bronya, Jing Yuan, Gepard, Luka, Silver Wolf, and Hook. This update provides an opportunity to delve deeper into the stories of these recruits and get to know them better.
The Version 1.4 update for Honkai: Star Rail will launch on Oct. 11. Topaz & Numby will be available with an increased drop rate for the first three weeks, followed by Jingliu in the latter half of the update.
