This update not only resolves issues but also introduces a new feature that allows players to customize the appearance of their hirelings, similar to how they can customize their own character using the magic mirror.
Hirelings are recruitable characters in Baldur’s Gate 3 who do not have specific quests or interactions like companions such as Astarion and Shadowheart. With this update, players can now create the party of their dreams by customizing the appearance of their hirelings. However, the same restrictions that apply to changing the player character’s appearance still apply to hirelings.
In addition to the ability to customize hirelings, the magic mirror now also allows players to change their character’s name. This is particularly useful for correcting any typos or mistakes in the chosen name.
The introduction of the magic mirror in Patch 3 provided players with the ability to change their character’s appearance, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. While mods may cause the magic mirror to disappear, there are simple solutions available to restore it.
