Karmine Corp, after a rough 2023 season, is making changes for the upcoming 2024 VALORANT Champions Tour. The team has reached a verbal agreement with two promising rookies, Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey from the US and Tomás “tomaszy” Machado from Portugal. N4RRATE will be the first NA import to EMEA in franchising. While the team still lacks an IGL, these new additions bring flexibility and potential to the roster.
N4RRATE is known for his skills with Jett and Raze, while tomaszy excels with Neon and can play other duelists like Reyna. This offers a new dynamic to Karmine Corp, as they never used double duelists in the previous season. With these signings, the team is prepared for any meta changes that may come.
Both players come from different backgrounds. N4RRATE made a name for himself in early 2023, despite being on a losing team. He showcased impressive stats, finishing eighth in match rating and leading in average combat score, damage per round, and kills per round. Tomaszy, on the other hand, was a standout player in the Portuguese tier-two scene. His team, SAW, won both Portugal Splits for Challengers, with Tomaszy leading in various regional stats.
While the full roster for KC’s 2024 season is yet to be revealed, these two rookies have the potential to make a significant impact. Their previous performances suggest they can top the charts in EMEA if they maintain their form. Having two skilled fraggers on the team will greatly benefit Karmine Corp as they aim to bounce back from a disappointing debut season in franchising.
