The Marvel Snap game is nearing the end of its All Time season, but there’s still one more week for players to complete their season pass. To add excitement to the game, a new card has been released featuring the popular character Mobius M. Mobius, portrayed by the beloved actor Owen Wilson.
The new Marvel Snap card, named after the character himself, is now available for players to acquire. With a cost of 2 and a power of 3, Mobius M. Mobius brings a game-changing ability to the table.
The card’s text reads: “Ongoing: Your Costs can’t be increased. Your opponent’s Costs can’t be reduced.” This ability has the potential to shake up the meta, especially when paired with the cost-reduction ability of Loki, another popular character in the game.
Loki has been dominating the game with his ability to reduce costs, but Mobius M. Mobius completely nullifies this advantage unless his ability is countered by a location or a counter-card like Enchantress.
In addition to countering Loki, Mobius also neutralizes other powerful Snap cards such as Wave, Sera, Mister Negative, and Zabu, rendering them useless except for their low power.
It’s worth noting that if both players have a Mobius card in play, their abilities will cancel each other out, leaving them with nothing but a three-power Owen Wilson lookalike.
With its low cost and strong utility, Mobius M. Mobius has the potential to become a popular choice for many decks, similar to previous cards like Nebula, Spider-Ham, and Jeff the Baby Land Shark.
To obtain the Mobius M. Mobius card, players can either find it in this week’s Spotlight Caches or purchase it from the Marvel Snap Token Shop for 6,000 Collector’s Tokens.
