Massive Buffs to Support Starting Items in League of Legends Patch 13.19

superadmin

Riot Games is gearing up for the preseason in League of Legends with Patch 13.19, and they have just added some significant changes to the Public Beta Environment (PBE). One of the most notable updates is the massive buffs to support starting items, including Spellthief’s Edge, Spectral Sickle, Steel Shoulderguards, and Relic Shield. These items will receive increased health and AD or AP stats, which will likely shift the bot lane dynamic.

The changes, posted by Spideraxe on September 26, show that Spellthief’s Edge and Spectral Sickle will have their health increased from 10 to 25, while Spellthief’s Edge will also receive a boost in AP from 8 to 10. Similarly, Steel Shoulderguards will see its health rise from 30 to 50, along with an AD increase from 3 to 4. These adjustments aim to make support champions more tanky and provide them with more opportunities to poke during the laning phase.

These alterations to starting items are just a part of the upcoming preseason changes. Riot Games is also planning to tweak Runes, champions, other starting items, and Dragons. While it is uncertain when these changes will be implemented on the live servers, some leakers suggest that they may arrive with Patch 13.20, scheduled for October 11.

With the buffs to support starting items, champions like Lulu and Karma will become even more formidable opponents in the bot lane. Additionally, Riot Games is looking to buff Doran’s Blade and other basic starting items, ensuring that AD carries also have increased power in the early stages of the game.

Players eagerly await Riot’s confirmation, which is expected to be announced in the middle of next week. These changes promise to shake up the meta and provide a fresh gameplay experience for League of Legends enthusiasts.
