Previously, Monks held the staff by their side, but the patch changed it to be held over the shoulder, resembling the Brewmaster artifact weapon. While this change was welcomed, there’s a problem: when stowed on certain character models, the staff is rotated the wrong way, causing it to clip through the character’s head.
Monk players took to Reddit to express their frustration with the blunder. One player commented, “Whoever made this had one job and they can’t simply turn it properly.” Another user criticized the fix, stating, “Even the fix is half-assed.” Some players expressed doubt that Blizzard would address the issue promptly.
This situation highlights the need for better quality control from Blizzard. While WoW offers thousands of weapons, many of them have issues when transmogged. It’s great to see fun and thematic weapons like the Possessed Watcher Staff, but Blizzard should address the problem sooner rather than later to avoid adding it to the pile of seldom-used and awkward-looking mogs.
