Neuvillette, the Chief of Justice, has recently joined Genshin Impact’s roster and players are discovering his unique ability. A Reddit thread revealed that when charging up his Cannon attack, Neuvillette can hover on the ground, including bodies of water. This allows players to cross rivers quickly and save endurance. While this is a useful trick, Kaeya remains the best character for traversing bodies of water by freezing it with his Cryo abilities. It’s speculated that Furina, Fontaine’s Archon, may have a similar ability due to her Hydro element. Neuvillette also has a passive ability called “Gather Like the Tide,” which grants the full party a 15% speed boost underwater in the Fontaine region. However, his Charged Attack hover ability can be used outside of Fontaine, making him a valuable character throughout Teyvat’s world. In addition to these perks, Neuvillette is considered one of the strongest characters from Fontaine, offering high damage options and snowball potential for any team.
