A new bug related to the Moonstone Renewer item in League of Legends Patch 13.18 is causing frustration among players. The bug affects Ivern’s Shield ability, preventing it from working on isolated allies when equipped with the Moonstone Renewer. This issue has been present since Patch 13.14 and has not yet been addressed by Riot Games, despite being reported by Ivern Mains for over two months.
A player shared a video demonstrating the bug, showing that the shield works consistently without the item and when used on allies in close proximity, but fails to activate when used on an isolated ally with the Moonstone Renewer equipped. This bug is particularly significant as Ivern has seen some presence in professional play, including the LEC.
Players expressed frustration with the recurring bugs associated with the Moonstone Renewer item, which often affect champions like Sona and Seraphine. These issues should not be ignored, especially considering the item’s widespread use in competitive play. Such buggy interactions can have a significant impact on high-stakes games.
It remains unclear whether Riot Games plans to address this bug. Additionally, players noted that Singed has also experienced several long-standing bugs related to his interactions with Cosmic Drive and the Conqueror Rune.
Patch 13.18 introduced the new jungler Briar and included various balance changes. The next patch, expected to be used in this year’s World Championship starting on October 10, is anticipated to bring more substantial balance adjustments.
