A new VALORANT skin bundle is on the horizon, and leaks suggest an exciting theme that has players buzzing with anticipation.
According to popular VALORANT leak account ValorLeaks, an image has surfaced featuring towering rock pillars and a weapon at the center. The weapon in question is the staff of Sun Wukong, a legendary character from Chinese folklore and a beloved figure in various video games.
The Ruyi Jingu Bang, a magical staff typically depicted in red with gold accents, is showcased in the leaked image. In the original tale of Sun Wukong, the staff is described as a massive iron pillar standing at twenty feet tall and as wide as a barrel. However, it can shrink to a more manageable size at the command of the Monkey King.
This iconic weapon has been wielded by the immortal monkey king in numerous stories, including the renowned Chinese novel Journey to the West. In Riot Games’ popular MOBA title League of Legends, a champion named Wukong also wields a similar staff that extends during combat.
Additional leaks suggest that this new melee weapon will be accompanied by skins for popular weapons like the Vandal, Operator, Ghost, and Ares. These weapons are highly sought after by players, making this potential bundle one of the most anticipated in the game. If the skins feature impressive animations and special sound effects, they could be priced at 2,175 VP per skin and 4,350 VP for the melee weapon.
