Recent data mines in Pokémon Go have successfully uncovered assets for upcoming content in the game. These data mines, shared on the Silph Road community Reddit, have revealed assets for unreleased Pokémon such as Mega Mewtwo and Necrozma. This latest data mine is particularly significant as it includes remaining Mega Evolutions, Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, Hisuian Pokémon, and species from Gens VI, VII, and IX.
Some of the notable findings include assets for Aegislash, Wishiwashi, Lycanrock Duck Form, Mudbray, Mudsdale, Drampa, Pyukumuku, Cetoddle, and Cetitan. These Pokémon are expected to be added to the game in upcoming events, with a focus on the Paldean species in December. Additionally, the data mine also includes assets for Hisuian species from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as well as new costumed Pokémon and the remaining Mega Evolved Pokémon that have not yet been released.
Based on these findings, it is speculated that the next six to nine months of Pokémon Go content will feature these newly discovered Pokémon and Mega Evolutions. Fans are anticipating their release leading up to the Go Tour: Sinnoh event, with speculations about Mega Mewtwo being featured in Pokémon Day celebrations or Go Fest 2024. However, it is important to note that these speculations have not been confirmed by the developers, and official announcements are awaited.
