Pokémon Go enthusiasts are once again expressing their frustration over the challenging task of capturing newly added creatures in the game. Players have taken to Reddit to voice their exhaustion, particularly regarding the recent introduction of Paldea Pokémon like Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly.
One player highlighted the issue, stating that while they usually find it easy to catch Pokémon, it becomes problematic when a 300 Cp Tadbulb is harder to catch than a 1700 Cp Magmar, especially considering Tadbulb does not even have a powerful evolution.
Another comment emphasized the larger problem at hand, with a player expressing their frustration when a 150cp Sprigatito repeatedly escapes from a well-executed throw using a greatball. In contrast, most starter Pokémon or regular Pokémon can be captured with a single Pokéball throw, while Legendary or strong Pokémon like Charizard typically require Ultra Balls and precise throws to increase the chances of capture.
Some players speculate that Niantic, the game’s developer, intentionally makes new Pokémon more difficult to catch, potentially leading to increased usage of Pokéballs or encouraging players to venture out more frequently to replenish their supplies.
Regardless of the reason, fans unanimously agree that this aspect of the game is becoming increasingly annoying. This frustration adds to the disappointment caused by the recent Party Play event, where solo players felt left out due to the lack of alternatives provided by Niantic. Additionally, some players have faced bans for simply playing the game.
When will this backlash end? Can’t we have a moment of joy for once?
